      My role of brand executive at Percy and Nell involved working directly with the CEO and I was quickly assigned various marketing and operational responsibilities. When I initially came into the business, I was required to learn all of the internal and external systems from the ground up. Learning how to use these systems and manage accounts required a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to quickly familiarise myself with a completely new area of work. My marketing responsibilities included content creation and management of the brand’s Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Tik-Tok accounts. I had joint responsibility of coordinating social media campaigns and giveaways, which saw us grow the Instagram following from 6k to far beyond 10k in a duration of under two months. In addition, I was responsible for the fulfilment of all customer orders. I was required to run quality checks and package orders, purchase and print postage labels using the Shipstation fulfilment system and record customer orders on an internal spreadsheet. I investigated our internal and external systems on occasions where orders went missing and had to rectify any issues. Lastly, I was held solely responsible for checking through wholesale orders prior to these being sent to customers. A thorough examination of both the quantity and quality of the products was essential as I was the first and last stage before the customer would receive their item. Show less
