Volunteer
-
Sep 2012 - Jan 2013
The Red Cross Tracing and Message Service helps facilitate contact between refugees and their family members from whom they have been separated during their escape from their home country. The volunteer works within the Tracing and Message Service consists of interviewing the refugees who are looking for family members and try to get as detailed a picture as possible of their escape and the circumstances leading to the loss of contact. Afterwards, The Red Cross will search for the lost family members using its own international network and in some cases this will lead to a reunification of the family. Show less
