My main duties involve ensuring all employer and employee information is accurate and up to date, the inputting of new starters, tax code changes and student loan notices. I process a large volume including weekly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls ranging from 400-800 employees as well as the processing of SMP, SSP, SPP , attachment of earning orders and the processing of leavers and producing P45’S. Additionally I liaise with HMRC on behalf of our customers, dealing with underpayments/overpayments, RTI queries, I also assist with sending out monthly and quarterly tax bills to customers. I look to deliver high quality and professional customer service to our clients ensuring they are always supported and informed. I work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment to make sure the payroll is completed on time to a professional standard, whilst ensuring I am compliant with current legislation. In some circumstances I also have to do manual calculations for tax and national insurance. Within my role I deal with many telephone calls from customers as well as local offices and local authorities. My day to day role does mean working alone and on my own initiative however I do look to build and manage relationships with other internal branches. Show less

This was a temporary position where I worked on the shop floor and on the tills. My main duties include face to face sales experience with customers, the handling of money as well as being an active and contributing member of the sales team. This was a short stay however provided transferable people skills as well as team building experiences. This was a temporary position where I worked on the shop floor and on the tills.
