Completed 140 hrs of placement altinating between Rivercity Private, Pindara Private and John Flynn Private hospital Clinics in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Assisted technitians with the running of an overnight sleep study. Greeted and helped to setup patients by taking Blood pressures, height and weight measurements and connection of all equipment (EEG, limb and chest leads, respiratory bands etc) as well as performing calibrations to ensure all equipment was working properly. Recorded technitian notes every 15mins for the entire overnight study and assisted techs with any information that needed to be recorded in patient files for further reference by doctors and sleep scientists. Assisted with all cleanup of equipment and the successful release of patients in the morning.
