As an Atlantis Fellow, I experienced global healthcare through shadowing rotations in preparation for my future career. At Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda in Milan, Italy, I experienced a variety of surgical specialities, including general, cardiothoracic, and urology surgery. The 40+ hours of shadowing enabled me to meet, talk, and learn from doctors in and outside of the OR.
