  I developed organizing & communications strategies for workers’ rights, immigrant rights, public education, & other social/economic justice issues within a dynamic community-labor coalition of 150+ member organizations. I am proud to have worked on several ballot initiatives alongside labor unions in my time at JwJ. During my time there, we won a statewide cap on charter schools, raised the minimum wage, and secured paid sick leave for workers. I created curriculum and led trainings on communication strategies, including training members in the JwJ Movement Organizing Institute for POC & Immigrant Leadership Development.
