Customer Service: Upholding the impeccable standards of Australia’s premium airline and ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of QANTAS Club Members, in one of the most commercially popular ports in the country catering for defence, mining, business executives and regional government heads. Adaptability: In this role I was frequently affected by factors outside of my control, such as environmental related delays or onboard emergencies. My results demonstrated resilience and ability to work under pressure. No ordinary Cabin Supervisor, Natalee-Jewel was regularly featured in Virgin Blue’s print-media advertising and marketing campaigns. Personally chosen by CEO Brett Godfrey to hand deliver Virgin Blue’s ultimatum to the Macquarie Bank’s Sydney Airport Corporation, Natalee-Jewel found herself on the front-line of Virgin Blue’s terminal access negotiations and the launch of legal action against the bank. Virgin Blue was successful in its suit against Macquarie. As Cabin Supervisor I was responsible to the Captain for the safety and security of 150 passengers and five crew. Leadership: From the pre-flight briefing to end-of-trip sign-off, I lead by example and consistently demonstrated Virgin Blue’s service standards, impeccable grooming and teamwork. Reviewed by all crew members each trip (360 degree reporting), I received a 99% performance rating as Supervisor and mentor. Management and Supervision: I oversaw and reported on cabin crew performance; coordinated crew responsibilities and clearly communicated with Ground and Tech Crew to meet safety, on-time performance and service targets. Guest Care: I received letters of thanks for the attentive care of mothers and children, calming nervous flyers and providing special assistance to non-English speaking Japanese passengers. Safety and Contingency Planning: As Cabin Supervisor I was personally responsible for the safety of all passengers and crew members at all times. I was responsible for certifying team members as operationally current, and had a sound understanding of procedural amendments for the Boeing 737-fleet, first-aid/emergency procedures and company policy. I was commended by Senior Management and the Australian Federal Police for composure and precise implementation of protective and intensified security threat measures following an onboard security breach on the anniversary of September 11.
