As a legal counsel of Vizor Interactive, I was engaged in all sorts of everyday legal work at the office, such as: - preparing an application package for the Belarus Hi-Tech Park; - drafting contracts, claims, internal legal documents (in the Russian and English languages); - analysing incoming legal documents, making and reconciling amendments with partners of Vizor; - maintaining communications with state authorities and business partners (drafting and sending enquiries, providing answers to incoming mail); - preparing application packages for registration of trademarks; - obtaining work permits (until March, 2018), temporary residence permits and visa-free entry permits for foreign employees of Vizor, representing them with state authorities; - preparing documents for sponsorship activities of Vizor ; - giving advice to employees with regard to work-related legal issues (primarily in the field of copyright and labour law); - translating legal documents (from Russian into English and vice versa); - removing content that infringes Vizor's copyright from the Internet (filing DMCA notices when applicable, drafting and sending copyright infringement claims); - checking legislation updates with regard to the company's business activities.
