Master Class: Bring a Character to Life with Nastacia Guimont Learn from professional actor (and former GREAT star!), Nastacia Guimont, in this two-session master class. Join Nastacia to gain confidence in analyzing text and making bold choices to bring a character to life. This master class is designed for both new and experienced actors alike and will focus on turning text work into dynamic character choices, building actor confidence along the way. Participants must commit to both sessions as the first will focus on the “why and how” and the second session will focus on application to a given text. Register today as spots are limited and open to the first eight participants (ages 18+). Master Class will take place over Zoom. Sept. 2 & Sept. 9 from 7-8:30pm Show less

KIDSTAGE is about using theatre skills to build critical life skills in each student. I taught three 1-hr sessions of acting class once a week for students ages 6-12. The main objectives were to build confidence in improvisational and textual analysis skills as it applies to scene work. -Analyzed scripts to determine stage directions and notes for students to increase student learning. -Evaluated scene work; provided immediate oral feedback to improve and polish performance and craft. -Created a space that encouraged collaboration between students and utilized ideas in final performance.
