Director

Aug 2009 - May 2013
As Director of Technology Development, I took on the initiative and responsibility to transform the entire development infrastructure of the organization. I implemented and executed various technologies and methodologies in the engineering and development division that increased productivity and streamlined workflow within the organizational structure. In a period of one year, this involved a technical and cultural shift from strictly Microsoft proprietary technologies to Open Source, platform agnostic service technologies.Project Highlights4CourtDC : Lead the development of the 3rd through 6th versions of the 4CourtDC Fuel Retail Automation system built entirely in JAVA. The service is an original C.C. Technologies IP that allows fuel retail stations to monitor their sales and tanker deliveries in real time, eliminating any and all pilferage at fuel stations. This service were deployed by two Fortune 500 companies – PSO and Petronas Indonesia - and has handled more than USD $13 Million in live transaction per day at over 1200 retail locations from 2007 to date. Self Service Kiosks: The C.C. Technologies Self Service Kiosk platform was developed to enable direct sales to cash and credit card customers of PIA, Ufone, and Sui Southern Gas Company. The platform used a cloud based middleware which allowed customers of the above corporations to purchase airline tickets, top up their mobile phones and pay their utility bills 24 hours a day from over 25 self service locations nationwide. All three services were offered as outsourced models and were completely managed by CC Technology’s engineering teams. The total revenue generated for these services from 2007 to date is USD$ 5.85 Million.

Co-Founder & CTO
-
Dec 2010 - Dec 2011
While working as Director at C.C. Technologies, I Co-Founded Figr, a Digital Retail Loyalty Start-up company based in Singapore. As CTO, I created a platform that allowed retailers and POS manufacturers to send digital receipts to retail customers via SMS, E-mail, or a web application where they could also use to manage their expenses. The data collected from these customers was used by the retailers to improve their services as well as offer real time loyalty rewards and discounts to participating clients. In a time frame of 3.5 months I built the complete system which included managing the design and development duties single handedly. Figr successfully launched the system with Sodexo Global, a Fortune 500 hospitality company, in September 2011.
