    • Social Media Coordinator
      • Jul 2021 - Nov 2021

As a Social Media Coordinator, I oversaw the social media profiles for 7 different companies under the Kadco brand. These included 2 fabric and haberdashery companies, 2 restaurant and dessert businesses, 1 events company, a health and beauty salon and finally an Asian clothing retailer. Within this role I executed a results-driven social media strategy whilst developing and curating engaging content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube. With the assistance of Adobe software (Premier Pro and Illustrator), Canva and Videoleap, I had monitored industry trends and created and edited written, video and photo content whilst maintaining a unified brand voice across all media channels. When required, I also attended events and produce live social media coverage for Instagram stories and other behind the scenes video content. Alongside the creative aspect of this role, I also interacted with users and responded to social media messages, inquires, comments as well as reviewing analytics on key metrics to report back to my manager during our team meetings. As a sales advisor for the womenswear department, I deal with all kinds of enquires and complaints about products and services within the business - whether it is associated with my department or not. As a John Lewis (Leeds) partner, I pride myself in upholding the values the business portrays, these include providing excellent and premium customer service and making sure that the company fulfils the needs and desires of the customer, thus making their experience memorable with us. My job role requires me to deal with cash & card transactions as well as other monetary responsibilities. These involve counting profits from several tills on my department at the end of the working day as well as making sure the tills are ready for use for Sunday trading. I also manage certain stock and make sure that there are enough products on the shop floor for customers to find. Alongside these tasks I also promote any in-store or online promotional activities that will help generate sales and footfall. These activities usually include interrelating with customers about membership cards and other services John Lewis provide. As a partner/sales advisor I also make sure that I aid my fellow colleagues throughout the branch – proving myself to be fully flexible to help wherever. Show less

    • Food Service Advisor
      • Oct 2013 - Sep 2016

My official title was a food service advisor for the Style Café which was in the White Rose Shopping Centre. For three years I took on the role as both a barista and waitress where my role included making and serving beverages and other delectable treats such as scones and cakes. I also took orders and served food directly to customers as well as play host when needed. From having greeted customers upon arrival and interacting with them whilst taking their order, I believe that my customer service skills were enhanced as I was able to communicate with consumers and subtly push sales to meet both personal and business targets. For example; extra sides with their meal or another drink or dessert. My role however did not just only include dealing with customers and their needs but also dealing with POS systems and handling other monetary transactions. This allowed me to assist in cashing up with other colleagues at the end of the day. I also gained valuable team building skills as my colleagues and I relied upon each other to get customer's orders correct to give them the best dining experience possible. Show less
