I had the opportunity to work with Nate cross-functionally for about a year and as his direct manager for 6 months - I would highly recommend him for any team. Nate is hard-working, a life-long learner, and is a great person above all else. One of the things that stands out about Nate for me is his willingness to tackle new challenges, learn, and adapt. Our team completely shifted strategies and he was the first person to raise his hand and volunteer to take several online courses to develop his understanding of our new strategy. Nate successfully developed several impactful project narratives and plans and even after I left the organization managed them through completion. My favorite narrative that Nate published was a complete customer journey from start to finish including internal and external processes and experiences. He did an exceptional job of documenting current practices across every single cross-functional team and also identified clear areas of customer friction and opportunities for the organization to improve. Once the narrative was completed it was invaluable - we were able to utilize it to put together our entire list of H1 priorities along with a clear product roadmap.
