  Facilitated merger of entire Capital Health regions into one authority forming Alberta Health Services. Coordinated the implementation of new financial systems and assisted directors and front line managers through the transition. Generated budgets and forecasts on a monthly basis and conducted variance/financial analysis for the Diagnostic Imaging Department for Edmonton and the Provincial Equipment and Informatics Department. Performed various types of cost analysis, which included costing new hospital departments, salaries, transfer of exams and budget from one hospital to another. Designed an excel spreadsheet system that compared actual amortization expenses to contract values. This spreadsheet was used to perform analysis and determine contract renewals. Taught learning workshop to implement this strategy Province wide to track financials.
