Established programs to transform Xtek from a reconditioning job shop to a company capable of building new bespoke gearboxes, complementing their inherent strengths. My responsibility is to design custom gearboxes, based on the initial values and boundary conditions provided by the customer. These prerequisites form the basis of the gearing design and optimization of Safety Factors for bending and endurance durability in conformance to ANSI/AGMA 2001-D04 and ISO 6336. Bearing reactions and life calculated to select appropriate bearings. The gearbox weldment designed around the gearing assembly to client’s footprint and boundary limitations. FEA and thermal rating provided, whenever necessary. Component details developed for manufacture after customer’s approval. Lubrication systems designed to meet the operating conditions and client’s stipulations. Designed Custom Gear boxes for Xtek USA. Designed machines and provided engineering services for clients in America and Europe. We delivered quality drafting and documentation for manufacturing that included all engineering computations and analysis, with 3D Models. We were a virtual design centre for Vetus, a major Dutch yacht equipment manufacturer. We designed a series of spiral bevel gear stern and bow thrusters, with acute space constraints. These are to operate in harsh… Show more Designed Custom Gear boxes for Xtek USA. Designed machines and provided engineering services for clients in America and Europe.
