Assistant Vice President - Regulatory Reporting

- Member of the Regulatory Reporting team within the wider Operations Regulatory Control department for over 6 years in total. A senior member of the reporting team; recently been promoted to Assistant Vice President. - My role involved working closely with Compliance, Business, Technology, Finance and Operations to analyse, interpret, investigate, provide oversight and implement regulatory requirements. - Responsibilities included Transaction reporting to various regulators. This included MIFID II reporting to NCAs on a T+1 basis and oversight of UK DMO reporting. - Completion of UAT, testing functionality of strategic regulatory platform build. Managing ORC UAT for monthly releases, assigning JIRAs to other SMEs in the team to test and track to completion. Provide walk-through of monthly UAT and post-release checks with senior management. Responsible for completing testing for Brexit changes, SFT implementation for MiFID, strategic fixes for defects etc. - Ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of reporting within the required deadlines, exception handling and query management. - I was a member of the SEMO team (Single Electricity Market Operator) which facilitates the continuous operation and administration of the single electricity market on the island of Ireland. - I was in the Market Operations team. Skilled in Settlements which is responsible for calculating payments and charges, publishing Ex-Post Indicative & Initial settlement statements and preparing & issuing invoices to participants in the SEM. Also trained in Pricing & Scheduling which involves producing a schedule of half-hourly System marginal prices and Market schedule quantities.
