I gather artists together to discuss a variety of topics and record raw and real conversations with the goals of spreading awareness on the chosen topic. Based on feedback, artists leave these sessions refreshed and viewers gain a satisfying experience of introspection. No Offence London aims to be a platform that combats silence culture and provides a safe space to discuss the realities of modern-day society in an engaging creative way.

As the Afro-Caribbean Society events officer at Brunel University, I contacted organisations to find suitable venues, equipment, performers e.g. DJs and Artists, lighting and sound specialists, security. At times I organised and lead team meetings gaining leadership skills. I practised paying attention to detail in order to ensure our events met health and safety standards. As part of a team, we used social media promotion strategies including WhatsApp groups with new students and Twitter polls to create strong relationships. I created content for social media accounts; I designed digital flyers where I learnt how to use engaging language and convey messages using graphics for the specific audience ensuring relevant information is provided. I also planned engaging and interactive events tailored to our audience's interests such as collaborating with a roller-skating disco for Halloween and valentine’s day, a black history month showcase and themed movie and games nights. We used direct marketing and market research to understand our audience's interests and profiles. I took up communicating and collaborating with other departments on the society e.g. finance and liaison to successfully plan and execute events developing strong team working skills. I worked hard towards clear ambitious but realistic deadlines and timelines to reach promotion and event goals which were results oriented. Our society numbers grew from 0 to 250 members and continued to increase after each event.
