Naomi had worked with Makers Asylum as a Design Intern and for the 2 months of time when she was here, she was the most active intern I have came across, she is curious, patient and loves to work on new ideas. She is a quick learner, active listener and also make sure that the instructions are followed and goes beyond expectations with the results. She is cheerful and makes everyone around smile with her presence! I am sure she will be a great asset to any organisation she gets associated with. Wishing her the best!

As an assistant mentor, I guide aspiring makers, empowering them to materialize and execute their innovative ideas during residencies. My passion for education led me to develop a comprehensive 10-module skill course on product design and prototyping, ensuring it encompasses essential aspects of design thinking and practical techniques. Beyond mentoring, I also provide valuable insights into various design aspects to project teams within Maker's Asylum. With a blend of creative acumen, project management skills, and an unwavering commitment to fostering a thriving maker community, I am honored to contribute significantly to Maker's Asylum's mission of promoting hands-on learning and driving meaningful innovation. I worked at FootLoose Labs for a period of one month where I had the opportunity to be a part of their automation design projects. I worked in a cross-functional team and produced design sketches and CAD renders for product development. I also had the opportunity to work as a content creator for the initial stages of one of their product launches. I started my journey with Roobaroo as a Resident Artist in 2020, where I performed spoken word poetry at over 50 online open mics from 2020-2021. Post-pandemic when I moved to Bangalore for my studies, I founded the Bangalore City Chapter of Roobaroo. During my one-year tenure as Chapter Head, I organized and hosted four open mics with a crowd of over 85 people at each event. I worked for the organization as part of its Social Media and Design Team. I helped design their initial branding kit like letterheads and certificates, and created the visuals for their Instagram posts.
