Nancye and I worked together for several years on the Biophysical Society annual conference. I as an exhbitor and she as the show manager. I always enjoyed working on that show because Nancey was a real ally – she was so well organized, accessible and accommodating, it was a pleasure to work with her. Unlike some organizers, she was available by phone and would return calls. She really listened to exhibitors and worked hard to improve the experience for all of us – by providing clear information on deadlines and exhibitor opportunities, and trying new ideas to provide a better return for exhibitors. She treated exhibitors like partners, rather than just a source of income. And the show itself always seemed to go so smoothly, no matter what the venue.
