  An all volunteer team of even professionals built the LEC as the advocacy organization for the industry when in March of 2020 it was realized that an industry with a work force that exceeded 12,000,000 and annual revenue of close to one trillion dollars needed a voice. My role as president is to continue to make sure we are the voice of our industry, bring awareness to why we are so important and work side by side with colleagues to make legislative change on many topics.   I lead a team at BRAVO! that brings stories to life, as an event strategy firm we work with our clients to understand their mission, goals, objectives and create experiences that will push all of this forward. Live events are an opportunity to bring an organization of any kind in direct touch with their stakeholders - employees, consumers, donors, partners and more to truly engage on a personal level. We believe that these experiences are tools to be used within your marketing and communications campaigns or tools to cultivate and nurture your donors. We are collaborative, thoughtful, innovative and detailed with our own goal of truly becoming a clients partner. Nancy as an individual and BRAVO! as a team has been honored to win many awards most recently I was humbled to be one of the 2022 Top 100 Smart Women in Meetings. While the awards are beyond appreciated it is the work we do that fills her soul and drives us to continue as it propels her to educate and mentor the next generation.
