Duties changed to recruiting school sites, providing training for certified teachers on curriculum, subcontracting with schools, and monitoring of the programs. In 2009 received additional funding from CSBG Stimulus (ARRA) Grant. Responsible for oversight of grant which consisted of three program areas: youth entrepreneurship through Commerce Department, addressing student truancy located in Human Services and mentoring under-resourced students administered through Community Services. Additional duties included recruitment of school participants, recruitment of adult mentors, organizing training for mentors, providing orientation for mentors, conducting regular meetings with mentors, submitting progress reports to funding agency.
