I, too, could recommend Nancy Ridge without hesitation and I echo the preceding commentaries by the other area professionals. I had the privilege of working with Nancy on several different levels, both as her supervisor, originally, and then, later, as her subordinate, which should tell the story, as the administration of the agency recognized her skill set and promoted her to a senior management position, effectively making her "my boss". This could have been an awkward situation, but, ironically, it was a seamless transition, as we treated one another respectfully, regardless of internal hierarchy, which led to a excellent programmatic collaboration. What was the loss for her previous agency was a gain for the Hamilton County Medical Foundation - They will soon realize the "gem" that they have recently acquired!

Nancy Ridge is a dedicated, personable, energetic, and innovative leader who has provided exemplary service in area nonprofit organizations, including programs she developed from their inception. I worked very closely with her and helped recruit her to serve as the project director for the Hamilton County Divorce Education and Mediation Pilot Project in the Hamilton County Court system. This project reformed the way divorce is handled for divorcing parents with minor children. The program’s goal was to enable mothers and fathers to be involved in the lives of their children, even when the parents were divorced. This program was so impactful that it became state law and is now known as the Tennessee Parenting Plan. Nancy wrote the Judges Manual for the Implementation of the Tennessee Parenting Plan, which was distributed to every judge and clerk in the State of Tennessee. Each of her professional positions has required her to gain the trust of other organizations and leaders to accomplish challenging goals. She is a terrific organizer, a seasoned manager, and a compassionate and dedicated leader. Whether she is staring a new initiative, managing an existing program, or working as part of a team, I recommend her without reservation.
