i was fortunate enough to work with Nancy for the past 4 years, across various roles. Nancy is an excellent allrounder with a wide range of skills and knowledge, and is very articulate and adept at expressing both her requirements and her views in a variety of ways, to fit the audience. In my opinion she strikes the balance between being customer-centric, but also understanding the challenges of the business from within, and this is a rare quality as she is able to work well with Technical, non-Technical, Product, Finance and Commercial colleagues at the same time. Nancy would be an asset to any company and her hybrid skills would ensure she would be suitable for a range of roles, and for any company looking for her level of creativity and adaptability.

Nancy is a really great organiser and managed to coordinate a number of complex projects (and difficult people) through to successful delivery. She is a delight to work with and approaches all her tasks with enthusiasm and with a focus on the desired outcome.

Head of Renewals and Retentions
-
Apr 2015 - Oct 2020
With approximately £18m revenue generated from subscriptions in FY20, customer memberships are an integral part of the Tungsten Networks success. The Network is made up of 270,000 suppliers making the data sets complex and large but the team always endeavoured for a white glove approach where possible. My role was to oversee both the Renewals and Retentions teams; monitoring, understanding and responding to attrition vs targets as well as ensuring subscription fees were invoiced by the billing team correctly and in a timely manner. During this period, on a project basis for approximately 6 months I was also asked to manage the Credit control team of 18, to install good processes for better collection.

Head of Supplier Marketing, Interim
-
Nov 2014 - Feb 2015
Asked by the Group CEO to take on the Interim position of Head of Supplier Marketing to our 270k ‘supplier’ customers, I created best practice sales tools and communications which are still in use; launched marketing strategies for a number of new products as well as visual branding design which was rolled out across full group branding.

General Manager of TNF
-
May 2014 - Feb 2015
Recruited into the business as General Manager for a new entity within the Group - Tungsten Network Finance, my role was an 'all-rounder'. The product, entity and staff were all new and we operated very much like a start-up, putting in new policies, processes and procedures.

Agency Development Manager
-
Jan 2013 - Jun 2014
AKA Group consists of a collective of worldwide companies (including Creative Partnership and Digital Media Services) working across the film, theatre, arts and culture sector. At the end of my service, the group employed over 400 staff across 9 offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne and Manchester. Being a specialised Marketing and Advertising agency, AKA has an exceptional understanding of different marketing needs dependent on the client and a “one-size fits all” approach would never be considered, let alone proposed.Joining the company as the CEO’s assistant, after a short time, I became thought of as his ‘right-hand’ and known as a personable point of contact for the company. As a ’go-to’ for both the key clients, staff, the Board and the CEO it was important to understand every aspect of the day to day client needs and issues as well as the operational running of each company to assist with the successful growth and expansion in each territory. I created and converted many new business leads; introduced and connected external clients with one another; and advised and nurtured new emerging clients to the industry to ensure that AKA be the no-brainer agency choice.I researched and outlined the possible bids for acquisitions, remaining on top of the industry competition, drove special projects, authored company communications and ran client and company events. In the 4 years I worked at AKA we acquired 2 companies and opened 3 offices.

Crown Music has now split-up into two companies: Crown Talent Group and Turn First Artists. During my time at Crown, I looked after the management of artists such as Ellie Goulding, Liam Bailey, The Noisettes, Brendan Benson, Good Shoes and more. The role was varied and rewarding in an industry that I felt incredibly passionate about. Crown Music has now split-up into two companies: Crown Talent Group and Turn First Artists.
