Coordinate and monitor the expeditious operation of the Capital Improvement's administrative workload. Monitor ongoing rehabilitation, renovation and construction of housing units. Review contractors' performance for adherence to plans and specifications governing their work. Responsible for timely submission of program requirements to funding agencies. Interact, effectively communicate and establish good working rapport with contractors, architects, engineers, trades people, government and city agencies, residents, interdepartmental staff and general public on an ongoing basis. Assemble pertinent documentation, attend/conduct bid openings and record bid data, attend job site, preconstruction and public meetings as needed. Show less
