  I plan, coordinate and manage the Skilled Nursing Unit. I am responsible for the overall direction and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to the residents. I ensure quality care that is consistent with regulatory standards. I maintain authority, responsibility and accountability for the proper care and treatments of residents. I oversee the care for those with mental health issues including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and social isolation. I hire and orientate qualified staff to carry out nursing programs and services. I develop and implement the staffing schedule that reflects the needs of the unit. I manage the unit budget to support my organization. I have managed the clinical aspects of State and federal Survey processes. I have a practical approach to problem solving and a strong drive to complete and implement needed processes. As and RN with eight years management experience I am excellent in working with others to achieve objectives on time and with excellence.
