   Responsible for construction supervision of Apron, Isolation bay, the crust includes GSB, WMM, Dry rolled lean concrete, &Pavement quality concrete. Responsible for construction of Taxi ways, Main Apron, Isolation Bay, Turning Pad,RESA at both ends of Run way, connecting road from run way to fire station, Approach Roads from main entrance to the Terminal and Periphery road around operational compound wall. Responsible for conducting mix designs of GSB, WMM, and Bituminous mixes like BM, DBM, DAC and mix design of pavement quality concrete.  Conducting tests on aggregates for Sp. gravity, Water absorption, Abrasion test, Impact value, Soundness test etc... Conducting tests on bitumen like penetration, softening point, fire point and flash point and tests on Bituminous mixes like bitumen extraction, marshal density, marshal stability etc.  Exercising quality control on construction materials during various phases of execution of Run way works. Ensure that all necessary field and laboratory tests are carried out at the at the contractors laboratory on site. Check the sampling, testing and inspection of all materials comply with the specified procedures and monitor all the test results. Monitoring contractor’s laboratory and field testing and carrying out independent testing Assist the Project Manager in the construction of the project in technical and administrative aspects. Preparing of daily and monthly progress reports .preparation of construction programs, calculating the initial quantities of materials for Run way works as per the cross sections. Involved in the supervision of Quality control tests at field as per the specification. Estimating quantity of work and checking of running account bills submitted by the contractor. Involved in the checking of finished levels of each layer and giving approval for laying of further layer. Show less
