  I worked with other research assistants on a nutritional supplementation trial to assess the nutritional status of HIV-exposed children.➢ My duties during this period included assisting with interviewing the HIV infectedmothers, filing field results, data entry, procurement for field items, and writingpapers based on the research results➢ I collected data on the field for the Nutrition-Sensitive School Feeding Program(conducting a 24-hour dietary recall and weighed food records).➢ I have worked on the nudging for good project where we assessed the nutritionalstatus of adolescent girls in Accra Ghana using a software application called Frani.➢ I have also worked on the school feeding project that aimed to create a database of the school foods (recipe, quantity, and nutrient content) using a software application called Frani.   My undergraduate thesis abstract was selected for a poster presentation during the 22nd IUNS ICN conference in Tokyo, Japan. My project title was to determine the relationship between BMI and menstrual disorders among University of Ghana undergraduate athletes and non athletes. During the conference, I attended various seminars where seasoned researchers in nutrition did oral presentations on their research works. This conference gave me in-depth knowledge in nutrition research and exposed me to top nutrition researchers worldwide. Show less
