  The main function was the implementation of management systems developed by the Plan for Modernization of Institutional Management (PMGI) of the University of Chile.The main system implemented in the first phase of the project was ‘U-Cursos’ designed to support academic work. After getting involved in the project, the team trained about 1,000 academic in the use of the software, informative sessions were delivered to students in different faculties and after a year of implementation the use of the platform was doubled. In relation to the goals settled for the project, after a year all indicators committed were accomplished.At the beginning of the implementation process of other systems, the team developed a standardized process involving initial trial run, development of multimedia tools for users and an on-line help system for client’s support, problems and inquiries.
