I first crossed paths with Ms. Nakisha in 2021 through the Morning Mindset, but it wasn't until 2022 that I decided to join the Elevate Her program. Opting to become a part of Elevate Her has proven to be one of the most impactful choices I've ever made. When I initially became a member, I was reserved in my demeanor, disheartened by numerous job rejections, and even contemplating a different career path - quite amusing, looking back on it! However, after my initial meeting with Kisha, I immediately sensed that I had found my rightful place, and my perspective on career choices underwent a profound transformation. Ms. Nakisha recognized potential in me that I couldn't see in myself, shattered the confines of my limited self-belief, and motivated me to assert myself in situations where I previously felt voiceless. As a person of faith, Kisha diligently poses the crucial questions necessary to craft a strategic plan that paves the way for your success. Throughout her coaching sessions, she encourages you to step beyond your comfort zone and unleash your true potential by employing honesty, directness, and practicality. If you happen to be a woman of color yearning for a career shift or striving to transform your mindset, personal life, or professional ambitions, I wholeheartedly endorse this program. It ranks among the most valuable investments I've ever made for myself 😊

I found out about Nakisha through a friend who listened to her Morning Mindset every Wednesday. After tuning in I realized that Nakisha has the wonderful ability to simplify concepts that seem so complex. Her morning mindset for me was the catalyst to getting more interested in the HR path programme. As a member of HR path Nakisha's coaching and guidance has helped me to gain more confidence to apply for roles and also improve and develop as a leader. The insights Kisha has given not only transcends professional but personal development. I applaud Kisha's intentional approach to her space and her mentorship style in ensuring that her practical tips are from her own leadership experience in HR. It is this style, and unique candor that had allowed her to be able do well at what she does. Listening to her content along with receiving coaching has helped me develop more as a leader. She takes mentorship from another angle and allows you to see yourself in ways you never thought you would. Listening to her has allowed me to apply for roles and be successful at landing a new job. Being in the hR path program has helped me to be more self aware to be a better leader. This program is highly recommended and the community relationships formed really go beyond the program. I encourage anyone who wants to build themselves professionally to join this program.

I was tired. I was worn out. I wanted something different to happen in my work life. I knew I needed help to move beyond my current mindset. I knew whom I wanted to help me, but she didn't exist in my current network. I wanted an executive coach, a Black female HR executive who could effectively challenge and support me. I needed someone to help me move beyond my "stuck" mindset. I needed someone who could speak to every aspect of me: my heart, mind, and spirit. Nakisha did just that. She helped me shift from a "stuck" mindset to an abundance mindset. She challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and succeed despite my discomfort. She reminded me of the unique value I bring to the workplace and this world. I will finish the HR Path program in a few weeks, but I will take all the tools and resources she has shared to maintain an abundance mindset tackling this massive world as a Black female HR professional. - Michelle C.
