A typical day on work required skills and knowledge in conflict resolution (oftentimes, we were the first responders to conflicts), customer service (customers often posed questions, compliments and critique), teamwork (smooth coordination of any operation requires good team mentality and communication), basic civil rights (we were not the police), fire safety (in case of fire, we are the first responders and mainly responsible for evacuation), and practical problem solving (every day posed new challenges that needed to be dealt with practically and safely).
