    • R&D Project Leader - Specific Anti-Biofilm Wound Dressing | Controlled Release System
      • Oct 2016 - Dec 2019

As a principal investigator, I realized the project entitled "Development of a wound dressing as a specific anti-biofilm protein release system. Towards chronic wound healing" in Polymers, Biopolymers, Surfaces laboratory, UMR CNRS 6270. Funded by GRR CRUNCh SESA Normandy Region and the European Regional Development Fund.Produced 2 scientific publications, 6 oral presentations and 3 posters at national and international conferences.• Managed an R&D project.• Designed a wound dressing from biodegradable polymers with an interconnected porous network that promotes the healing of a chronic wound.• Managed the physico-chemical performances (mechanical, gas permeability) required for wound dressing.• Studied the loading and the release profile of actives substances (proteins and antibiotic-loaded nanoparticles).• Evaluated the biological activity using an in vitro bacterial biofilm model.• Conducted the cytocompatibility tests using 2-D and 3-D reconstructed human epidermis models.• Collaborated closely with both internal (3 teams) and external (LMSM Laboratory, Evreux) units.• Supervised undergraduate student.• Taught practical work for undergraduate chemist and biologist students (72 hours).• Participated in public science event (Festival de l'Excellence Normande). Courses: • Innovation and project management (55 hours).• Training including bacterial biofilms, antibiotic resistance, and surface functionalization (70 hours).
