Responsible for: • Working with the Palestinian Bedouin Community in the Negev on capacity building and empowerment of community structure towards institutionalising sustainable system for sexuality education and counselling. • Establishing collaborative relationships with Governmental and Non-Governmental institutions. • Collecting, summarizing, analyzing and distributing data, information and materials related to the field and to the project. • Interviewing and recruiting project staff, consultants, volunteers and courses participants. • Developing operational plan; monitoring and evaluating project staff and activities. • Initiator and manager of IFPA’s courses for certificate in human sexuality education. • Coordinating and conducting training for local professionals on how to teach sexuality and reproductive health (including: sexual anatomy, childhood & adulthood sexual development, sexual assault, sexual orientation, sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, contraception methods. The course is recognized by the Education, Health and Welfare ministries and is part of the two year academic program for “Sexuality Educator Certificate” recognized by the Tel-Aviv-University) • Initiated and founded the “Open Door” Counselling Center in the Negev through managed volunteers’ work. • Holding field monitoring visits to partner NGO’s, schools, and governmental institutions.
