   Accountable for the overall management and technical operations of vessels allocated under me this includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections and dry docking etc. Plan and control all activities connected with safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Ensure the proper and timely support with regard to technical and nautical supplies, repairs and technical problems. Planning and management of dry-dock and wet-dock repairs/renovations including prepare/ writing repair specifications and coordinate with various repair firms for effecting major repairs, if any, during the voyage without incurring delay to the vessel, including, management of allocated repair and maintenance expenses against budget, oversight of technical purchases and deliveries. Under my supervision have efficiently executed 5 yearly, 10 yearly dry docking of 2- bulk carriers & 2 – container vessels during my above work tenure.
