      A prime and niche online UK group dedicated to the work of the musician and Artist Prince. NPGUK was the product of a college project (Advanced GNVQ IT) which was originally designed in PHP as an offline prototype.The idea was then created using Yahoo! Groups as it required no server hosting. As technology progressed it was then moved to the Facebook platform where it resides today providing a facility for select individuals of which 99% are either British/Irish passport holders or residents. Since the passing of Prince Rogers Nelson in 2016 the members of NPGUK helped to build a school in Prince's honour in 2017 in Malawi, in conjunction with In A Perfect World Foundation as mentioned on Billboard.com. In September 2017 40+ members climbed the O2 arena in London to commemorate 10 years since Prince played in excess of 21 nights at the venue. Money raised from the sponsorship of this even was used in 2018 to provide the pupils of our school in Malawi with equipment, uniforms and an adult literacy programme further helping the local community.In 2018 NPGUK decided to raise funds and this time dedicate them to assisting long time Prince associate Ms. Rosie Gaines through PRN Alumni. NPGUK also takes pride in having a large reproduction of its original floral tribute which was originally displayed on the fence at Paisley Park, Minneapolis; now travelling the globe as a permanent fixture of the My Name is Prince Exhibition which has been displayed in London and Amsterdam to date.
