I completed Computational Neuroscience program. It was composed of coursework and project work. During cousework time we've been studying tutorials on machine learning, deep learning, mathematical modeling of neurons and statistical approaches. During project time my team has been creating a research project on visual cortex inhibitory neurons. I completed Computational Neuroscience program. It was composed of coursework and project work. Bioinformatics team competition held in 2 stages. At the first stage, teams used Markov models to predict CpG islands. At the second (final) stage, a hackathon was held, during which the sequencing data of three patients with various diseases were analyzed and the mutations that caused these diseases were identified. My team took 5th place out of 59 teams initially participated. My role in the team was Bioinformatics Technician (I ran mutations calling and annotation).
