  Bluesfest is a world renowned, highly awarded music festival, established in 1990 and is held annually on Easter long weekend in Byron Bay, NSW.   I was the Wedding Maître D & Events Operations Supervisor at Byron Bay's most beautiful rain forest resort. I enjoyed working at the resort, met a lot of interesting people and gained next to impeccable time management skills, experiences in managing staff by running events for clients such as Harley Davidson, Macquarie Bank and Vogue to name only a few. My favourite part of the job was being the wedding Maître D'. Organising and witnessing so many ceremonies sparked the idea of becoming a marriage celebrant myself and I started studying remotely to obtain my license.

  My first job in the industry after graduating was with live entertainment touring promoter BB-Promotion which toured shows such as STOMP, West Side Story, Carmen Flamenco... Based in Mannheim it is also the local promoter for the SAP Arena shows such as Pink, George Michael, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton. Furthermore BB-Promotion owns the Musical Dome in Cologne and promoted in collaboration with Brian May the sit in musical We Will Rock You. My role focused on customer relationship management and sales promotions: - Cooperation management - Key Account Management - Acquisition, Target group research -Media cooperation - Coordination of loyalty systems - Corporate Event management - Coordination of promotional activities - Newsletter content - Supervision of sales activities - Protocol internal and external meetings - Sales reporting I thoroughly enjoyed working for this promoter. I learned to multitask in a high pressure environment. I left to follow my ultimate dream to immigrate to Australia with one laughing and one crying eye. Fond memories and to this day I am a friend of the company.
