I know true talent when I see it, so I made it my goal to grow and develop her as far as humanly possible. I knew all she needed was for someone to believe in her and push her to her full potential. I worked with Nadiya over the next eight months on things like Visual Merchandising, redirecting Brand Representatives, and how to exude confidence in a professional setting. Nadiya went above and beyond during her time as BrandRep for A&F, so much so, when I spoke with the Director of Stores for Abercrombie and Fitch, he bent the rules and allowed me to promote her to BrandLead. BrandLead is a pre-management position, usually given to stores with a volume over 2.7Million in volume. But Ms. Allen’s drive and determination along with results allowed our store to be the only store in the Region under that 2.7 marker with a BrandLead. Nadiya’s stellar performance as BrandLead prompted a quick promotion to Full Time Keyholder. As Keyholder Nadiya continued to go above and beyond for Abercrombie and Fitch. Not only is she working a full time job, but works between 32-40 hours at Nordstrom, and is a full time student. Nadiya’s work ethic and dedication to her craft is admirable.
