My responsibilities included: 1. Logging MGM trucks to ensure the amount of concentrate leaving the site matched Newmont's recorded data. 2. Modifying Excel sheets to improve production reporting and tracking processes. 3. Participating in analyzing results and collecting samples for variogram tests. 4. Assisting in the collection of samples from the regrind cyclone for testing purposes. 5. Using drone footage to inspect flotation tanks for signs of wear and tear during a previous shutdown. 6. Assisting in significant sampling events, such as Gold in Circuit which occurred twice a month. 7. Assisting with dust suppression test work alongside Veolia contractors, including manual flotation of samples with and without dust suppression agents. 8. Conducting a simplified kinetic testing investigation to determine the rate constants and maximum recoveries of copper and gold within slurry at different points within the flotation circuit. 9. Completing Level 1 Isolation training. Show less
