September 2020- January 2021 - Glycogen and insulin stabilization- Protein modeling and force analysis From May 2019- June 2020- Analyzed oxygen sensor data of diabetic patients via digital signal processing (DSP)- Applied and improved Kalman-like filter on the data obtained from the continuous glucose monitoring system (CGM)- Reduced mean absolute relative difference (MARD) by at least 20 deviations (typically from 30 to 3) thus enabling the CGM to provide accurate glucose readings to the patientsFrom June 2018-May 2019-Part of a team of engineers who researched and developed an at home device used for transcranial magnetic stimulation to help patients with psychiatric disorders-Developed coils to minimize heat dissipation via heat transfer analysis to ensure the device is safe for patient use-Created dose response curve to determine most effective intensity to stimulate neurons

My team and I collaborated with Rady’s Children Hospital by designing and 3D printing tracheal stents to be used in pediatric patients. We went through several iterations and successfully designed 2 stents that met the design criteria. - Developed and implemented mechanical testing methods in order to analyze the stress and strain applied on the stent to determine the most effective design- Performed finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure designs met project specifications My team and I collaborated with Rady’s Children Hospital by designing and 3D printing tracheal stents to be used in pediatric patients.
