I met Nadina when she was a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich, working with Prof. Erich Windhab. Nadina made significant contributions to projects being fielded in collaboration with Dreyer's Ice Cream, a subsidiary of Nestle. Specifically, she was instrumental in developing a new processing device, including the set-up and systematic testing in lab-scale, successful scale-up to pilot scale and commissioning of the pilot scale device. As part of her work, Nadina also supervised numerous students in the pilot plant and lab within the scope of their master and batchelor theses. I always found Nadina to be bright, energetic, focused, and results oriented. In sum, Nadina would be an asset to any team.
