Reporting to the Credit manager of a well-established medical recruitment agency. Responsible for covering several entities to ensure effective debt-collection activity: ‣ Credit control of sales ledger including dealing with all queries via email and over the phone, chasing overdue invoices and sending statements out on a monthly basis. ‣ Large reconciliations going back 2/3 years, to minimise bad debt write offs. Handling disputed accounts and negotiating plans to bring payment into line with agreed terms. ‣ Woking closely with billing & payroll to ensure clients are billed correctly and invoices are dispatched on time and via the correct channels. ‣ Establish & maintain good client relationships to resolve outstanding issues and work together to improve the delivery of invoices in a timely manner, to ultimately receive payments on time. ‣ Reduction of overall aged arrears including > 90-60 day debt, and controlling > 30 day debt. ‣ Load invoices and raise credit & debit memos. ‣ Posting & allocating BACS & CHAPS payments recieved on a daily basis on Nav.
