Sexual health training has included 6 general clinics a week, with further experience in specialist clinics over 3 – 6 months periods including complex female and male problem, herpes and warts clinics, as well as the psychosexual clinic over 3 years. Contraception patients are seen in general clinics. Also completed a 6 weeks obstetrics and gy-naecology placement at University College London Hospitals and a 2 week dermatology placement at Whipps Cross Hospital. Trained in skin punch biopsies and microscopy as well. HIV inpatient formed part of training, with competencies in managing opportunistic infections, other HIV related conditions, drug associated problems and complex psycho-social cases. HIV outpatient care is routine in training, but also included specialist HIV clinics over 6 months periods including nephrology, haematology/oncology, neurology and treatment advisory clinic, as well as the adolescent HIV clinic for over 1 year, which have all included multi-disciplinary discussions.
