PhD student in energetics and radiative transfer analysis applied to atmospheric sciences I work on the analysis of climate change simulations using Monte Carlo methods : the physics of radiative forcing, its integral formalism and statistical sampling. I am also a physics lecturer at the university. I developed a mathematical model and its numerical algorithm for a novel curved random walk describing the spontaneous movement of bumblebees, with and without a central attraction towards their nest. Its aim is to develop a behavioral navigation model, constrained by the knowledge of the underlying neural processes of pollinators, in order to enlighten the link between behavior in insects, their neuro-cognitive function and their interactions with the resources in the natural landscape.

I worked on an experiment aiming at trapping a silica nanoparticle using an optical tweezer, detecting its movements and cooling its center of mass motion to a few mK. The resulting system is an optical tool suitable for testing ultra-weak forces, e.g. Van der Waals forces.
