Managed NM’s support for early stage tech startups with the ultimate objective of nurturing a vibrant scientific culture in Egypt. This included rebranding the competition for undergrad students (Demagh Masry, or “Egyptian Brains”), and initiating a competition for Prototype Design (Shaغal, or “It Works”). Day to day, this translated into leading all aspects of key innovation competitions and events including concept creation, strategic planning, launch plan development, commercialization, and implementation support for early stage tech startups.

UNFPA and the Egyptian Family Planning Association (EFPA) collaborated on the project, Meeting Adolescents' Needs', to address the shortage of reproductive health (RH) services for adolescents in Egypt. This collaboration aims to build the capacity of UNFPA supported Youth Friendly Clinics (YFCs) of EFPA to provide adolescents with comprehensive services, counselling, and information that improve their sexual reproductive health (SRH) knowledge and related behaviours.
