Designed my own 'Core' class in Cellular Neurobiology at summer program at MIT. Loosely based off of a university course, I adapted and tailored the course to eleven advanced high school students. Course was six weeks long and eight hours per week. Delved deeply into a diverse range of neurobiological topics such as neurophysiology, neuropsychology, pharmaceutical design, neurodegenerative disease, memory, and others. Assigned and graded three independent research projects. A research paper, a scientific poster presentation, and powerpoint lectures. Took on a leadership role during activities like Firestorm and Puzzlehunt.
