In collaboration with program leadership, envisions, designs, identify, create and implement marketing and outreach strategies that identify the YWCA as the resource for: professional training, and as a preferred choice for professional and continuing education in their fields of expertise. Develop and sustain advantageous professional learning partnerships with educational organizations and external businesses. Responsible for the development and management of program deliverables, goals and outcomes, including: long range strategic planning; departmental policies and procedures; contract and staff compliance; and consistently high performance service delivery. Develop long-range department plans and an expansion of services based on department evaluations, community needs and revenue-generation opportunities. Incorporate a racial justice framework into departmental goals, outcomes and deliverables. Ensure the agency’s compliance with systems to meet mandated legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure understanding the department’s "industry landscape,” with continual application of new learning and education and trend awareness for programs. Responsible for ensuring recruitment, supervision, development, evaluation and the retention of highly qualified staff, interns and volunteers, including strategies to address employee experience and skill gaps. Foster a culture of engagement in which all are fully involved.Establish and maintain community, state-wide and county contacts to develop and advance the YWCA’s public presence; participate and provide leadership in appropriate local and state coalitions. Community engagement ties into system building; collaborations; new relationships; etc. Develop and manage department budgets, specifically tracking revenue, expenses and contract expectations to ensure fiscal stability.
