Diputación General de Aragón (DGA) - University of Zaragoza grant for PhD studies (B137/09)Research activities: Study the role of some mechanical factors on atherosclerotic blood vessels within the continuum mechanics framework. This cardiovascular disease is tackled from two different perspectives; computational (structural analysis by means of Finite Element (FE) methods, Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) analysis and plaque growth models using reaction-diffusion-convection equations) and experimental points of view.
