I provided level of care 1.0 outpatient (as determined by American Association of Addiction Medicine) counseling for adults in a closed group facility. I conducted intakes, evaluations, counseling (group and individual), treatment planning and case management for my patients. I have completed training in Law and Ethics and Face-to-Face counseling. I am a licensed Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee in the state of Washington.

I was a Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CDPT) in the New Path department at Columbia Valley Community Health. I assisted in the development of the new chemical dependency program, New Path. I also helped develop numerous community outreach programs for New Path as well. Some of the community outreach programs I worked with were; the juvenile detention center for Chelan County and Westside High School, the alternative high school in Wenatchee. I was in charge of intakes, evaluations, counseling (group and individual), treatment planning and case management at the program. New Path is an adult program that works with co-occurring patients and patients that are participating in medically assisted treatment.

I was a practicum student under the Substance Use counselor in the Child Welfare units at Excelsior Youth Center. Child Welfare units were residential units for children in the foster care system. I had my Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee license and was working towards my Chemical Dependency Professional License. I conducted individual counseling and group counseling sessions. I completed training in professional and ethical responsibilities, evaluations, and intakes.
