  In an unlikely place I was taught so many skills that I believe will so greatly impact my future success. The art of upselling was something that was constantly instilled in all of the servers. We had many sales competitions and took many courses to boost sales at the resteraunt. Multitasking was so incredibly important to learn in a busy atmosphere where as a server and entertainer you are responsible for so many different people's experience. Mainly, I walked away with impeccable people skills. There was a need to try to connect with every customer I came in contact with which taught me how to relate and hold a conversation with people from all different walks of life. Show less
