I'm so grateful to have worked with and learned firsthand from Melissa. She's a relentlessly hard worker and a mastermind at managing multiple projects and responsibilities (when we worked together she led on media outreach and PR, email marketing, digital and content strategy, as well as social media management - tasks that collectively merited a much larger team). She's also a gem of a human and pro at managing relationships. Not only was she a brilliant and supportive teammate, she brought impressive and innovative thinking on how to best communicate to new audiences on climate change and other critical environmental issues.

Melissa always brought a unique perspective to stories. She asked the questions that others wouldn't think to ask. She has a keen mind, an open heart, is energetic, and extraordinarily capable. And she has an incredible sense of fashion. You can't find a better communications professional.
