  working as Divisional Engineer (Switching /NOC) and involved in testing , commissioning and shifting of telecom services on Huawei SoftX3000 from existing EWSD (TDM) Switches. Softswitch along with fiber LAN switches and MA5600T/UA5000 MSAGs are installed for TDM to IP migration project carried out on the basis of Frame agreement with M/s Huawei.• As Divisional Engineer (Switching) also working as manager (NOC) for monitoring, O & M , troubleshooting and fault rectification of Softswitch, MSAGS and their allied transmission nodes like OSN-1500, OSN-3500, Metro switches S5700 , PON/Splitters and the Optical fiber that is connecting all the systems.•Managing the NOC, whose works include monitoring and handling of alarms, sub-admin, creation, and modification of numbers on MSAG and Softswitch, to create and manage trunk groups, to check and rectify optical fiber and Transmission equipment faults, to resolve dialing / routing issues.•Coordinated with Development wing and M/s Huawei for survey, installation, testing, commissioning and PAT (preliminary acceptance testing) of all new MSAGs and their connectivity with optical fiber with softswitch in Central region to replace old primary cables and cabinets.•Devising complete migration plan, TDM to IP Migration of all the existing TDM numbers on MSAGs and maintaining all database after migration.•Subscribers from old TDM EWSD exchanges are being migrated on to newly deployed NGN network of MSAGs that are connected to Softswitch using optical fiber junction network.•Was also involved in Commissiong, testing, Traffic shifting and media provisioning for Media Gateways (UMG-8900), Juniper Core and Access Router (M320i & M10i) Supplied by Huawei.•O&M including major and critical fault rectification of all EWSD and ZTE exchanges in , Also ensuring OCS punching , Metering and Files saving , maintenance of spares , Planning and implementing Repair and maintenance & Annual development plans and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Worked as a Data Communication Engineer, Responsible for monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting of different Data Communication Network entities e.g. Huawei BRAS, Paradyne DSLAMs, ZYXEL MSAN, Huawei Metro Ethernet Switches, Cisco Access Router, Juniper Router M320 series, Zhone Malc DSLAMs etc.• Responsible for the provisioning, installation, fault rectification for different services e.g. DSL (internet/intranet), internet/intranet over FTTH, Dial-up, International Leased Lines, Video-conference, etc in NTC Central Region.• Working as NOC Manager; responsible for the management of round the clock (24x7) operations of Network Operation Center (NOC), ensuring smooth communication of more than 40 Data Communication Nodes within Central Region and providing extensive technical and field support to the staff working at remote stations.• Did Supervision of Complete DWDM Project of NTC as DWDM Project Manager, Work Includes planning, co-ordination with Vendor, Ensuring given timelines for equipment delivery, Quality assurance and Installation.• To supervise the On-Site installation and commissioning of Huawei's New SDH nodes for NTC’s transmission network.• Operation and Maintenance of NTC current transmission network composed of Huawei’s OSN series equipment in Lahore Region.• To design optimized processes and to ensure no communication gap , early fault rectification , routine maintenance and health checking of NTC,s Transmission Network of Lahore region• As an additional charge, looking after O&M of Power Plant section of NTC Lahore which includes transmission Dept & DTE Race Course EWSD Exchange and its associated 5 X RDLU,s Power & their Rectifiers , AC,s , Batteries , Generators and other power appliances.
